“Silent is the hunter, beneath a winter’s moon”

Inspired by watching owls hunting in a deserted food processing plant, now gone and replaced by a housing development, the owls have gone as well - the advance of development takes more than it leaves. Two hand engraved barn owls surrounded by hand formed sterling silver stars stand guard for the horned moon, surmounting the full moon here represented by a beautiful 8 mm labradorite domed cabochon.
